CareLink Community Support Services has a current opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant at our STAR Partial Hospitalization Program located in Norristown, PA.

For over 60 years, CareLink Community Support Services has been dedicated to helping people with disabilities to live in the community with dignity and independence. Our rehabilitation services and professional staff provide the support that people with serious mental illness, physical disabilities and other developmental challenges need to be active, productive members of their communities.
This position is responsible for proving administrative assistance to Clinical Services Director and other administrative staff as directed.

Salary Range:
$18.00/hour

Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Two (2) years related work experience. Ability to word process and utilize software programs available. Experience with managed care billing and authorization process. Experience with electronic medical records preferred. Good communications, clerical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently.

Essential Job Functions:
Greet visitors and guests. Answer telephone professionally and relay messages in a timely manner. Provide training to other staff who may answer phones. Receive and deliver mail and distribute all correspondence including faxes in a timely manner. Provide clerical support to management as required. Act as back-up for other clerical and administrative staff as directed. Coordinate assessments and PHP treatments. Assist with charting operations, including opening admissions and closing discharge records. Complete filing for programs in a timely manner. Help to coordinate and maintain the active record files / archived chart room spaces. Support medical staff to ensure that charts are available for the doctor. Oversee daily operation of office. Type reports or letters as requested; develop form letters as needed. Order office supplies and maintain office equipment as needed. Coordinate partial program authorizations and re-authorizations. Prepare billing and perform related activities in a timely manner. Coordinate materials for required reporting to outside entities. Assist in coordinating in-house conferences, and preparing related materials. Act as the liaison with the fiscal department as needed and/ or directed.
